Fall of 2023 was full of fun, beauty, and surprises. It was the first year Elsa entered the Ephrata fair fir a drawing competition. She won 1st place in her division.

We were also wrangled into a “free” vacation while walking through Cabella’s. We enjoyed it… it definitely wasn’t free, but nothing ever is. We chose to go somewhere closer to home and went to the Shenedoah Valley. It was a good time.

We enjoyed taking walks through the local woods/trails.

And of course we made lots of apple cider.

This is also the same season we found out we would be moving to the farm/house of our dreams. That’s quite the story, and maybe I’ll write about it one day, but for now, I’m over a year behind on posts, so I’ll keep this short and catch up. Life has so many seasons, some harder than others. These last seasons have been so very full and busy. But I want to make sure to look back and reflect on the changes, ponder the good, see the beauty, and remember God’s grace.
